The songs on this album represent my first attempt to create complete music pieces using a computer with Creative Sound blaster sound card and instruments that I found free on the internet. Pieces were written between 1995 and 1997. There was a distinct attempt to learn the intricacies of music creation without recreating songs that already existed. This was the start of my attempt to create my own style, feel and sound.
This is the first batch of music I created when I moved to Australia. Previously I had been using the freeware, Midisoft Studio, which came with my midi cables and later, Cakewalk, as a DAW; but the sound quality increased when I acquired Reason. This album represents a further exploration of sound and feel, outside the mainstream traditions.
